Photoessay: Cup a La Cake.

A few weeks ago I posted a photograph of the Cupcake Bakery, located on the Keizersgracht 92 in Amsterdam. After exploring the Waterlooplein flea market on Friday afternoon (this weeks’ Amsterdam Insights), my friend and I biked to the Westerkerk, to Cup a La Cake!

A cute little bakery, Cup a La Cake sells cupcakes, cake pops (hello, Bakerella!) and macaroons, as well as baking supplies like the ones featured below…

I’m going to have to come back and try their cake pops and macaroons, they looked delicious!

Love all the cupcake liners…

Cup a La Cake can be found at Westermarkt 19, across the street from the Westerkerk (around the corner from the Anne Frank House). Next cake/cupcake stop? De Drie Graefjes (Eggertstraat 1), apparently their red velvet cake is to-die-for! And if you’re looking for cake decorations, why not check out SugarLicious (Jan Pieter Heijestraat 117), via Life Abroad: Cupcakes in Amsterdam.
