Oh Frozz, you’ve just made Amsterdam all the more wonderful, if that’s even possible. Frozen yoghurt has been spreading from one country to the next, the new ‘cupcake,’ if you will. I developed my frozen yoghurt crush in Montreal, at Yeh! Yoghurt (see Montreal Eats), my friends and I went there all the time (loved that it was self-serve!) Even though Frozz isn’t self-serve, it’s really wonderful and not too expensive.
I first tried Frozz a few weeks ago at one of their pop-up locations on the Waterlooplein, after exploring the flea market with two friends who were visiting. This experience definitely didn’t disappoint, although I’ll have to come back to try their winter offerings that weren’t available yet. Chocolate and raspberries, a classic combination…
What makes this frozen yoghurt unique is that you can really taste the yoghurt, Dutch yoghurt (100% all natural) and it’s only 100 calories for a small cup! Be sure to follow Frozz on Twitter and Facebook!
Frozz is open 365 days a year at the following locations: Rokin 30 from 12.00-10pm and the Bijenkorf Amsterdam & Bijenkorf Amstelveen (check websites for opening times). And stay tuned for more pop-up shops from April to October!
